Calends

Calends Support

Calends merges events from multiple calendars into one shared calendar you can give to anyone.

Quick start

  1. Open Calends and tap the + button to create a master calendar
  2. Tap the new master and pick which of your existing calendars should feed it
  3. Calends fills the master with events from those sources within a minute
  4. Share the master from Apple's Calendar app, the same way you'd share any calendar

Common questions

Where do my events actually live?

In your normal iCloud calendars. Calends doesn't move them. It writes copies into the master calendar you create — which is itself a regular calendar on your device. Your original events are never touched.

Can I edit events in the master calendar?

You can, but we recommend editing the source. Edits to source events flow through to the master automatically. Edits to master events stay there but don't propagate back.

What happens if I delete a master calendar?

The master is removed from your devices. Your source calendars and all the events in them are untouched.

How does sync between my devices work?

Calends syncs your master calendar settings through your private iCloud account. The events themselves live in regular iCloud calendars, which Apple syncs as usual. Only one device runs the active sync engine at a time — if you see a banner saying "Sync is running on [another device]," tap "Take over here" to switch.

What about Family Sharing?

The one-time purchase includes Family Sharing. Anyone in your Family Sharing group can install Calends from their own Apple ID and get the same access — no extra purchase.

What devices does Calends work on?

iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Requires iOS 17 / iPadOS 17 / macOS 14 or later.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Use the "Report a Problem" link in your Apple ID purchase history at reportaproblem.apple.com.
